nf4 chipset temp?

On my Asus PC probe software the threshold limit is 75C, im not sure if that is any help to you?

:)

Best to keep it <50. Mine started crashing when it was around that.
They do cook very easy so be careful.

Over at DFI one expert, Angry_Games, said it is rated to 90c and he doesn't mind anything upto 70c. Most panic if it gets over 60c, 50c is very common. Mine hit a maximum 57c full load in this weather and is normally around 45c idle. Good job my Evercool VC-RE is on its way to replace the crap heatsink that is fitted.

it was mid 50's this week in a 37 degree room at full volts when priming (side of the case was off though)

I can probably try and knock the volts down as it was only at 270 fsb.

Mine started giving bsods when it hit 50-55, although that was measured on the heatsink as that board didn't seem to have a temperature probe in the chipset.

I would have hoped it could cope with similar temps to graphics chips but sadly i don't think it can.
