NFA12x25 vs Thermaltake Toughfan 12

Hi all,

So I initially purchased 3x Toughfan 12s for my build, they seem great but I like tinkering so was curious as to how the NFA12x25 perform in my setup.

My main goal is silence.

Strangely, the NFA12x25 seem much louder, and theres a distinct motor or whooshing noise. I'm a bit surprised as these are supposed to be the best 120mm fan.

Is this normal? What RPM ranges should be aiming for?

go with no fans if you want silence. test bench with a passive cooler lol

Test them individually outside your system, hold them in your hand, and see which, if any, doesn't sound right.

For good 120mm employed as case fans about 1200 RPM is about right if you care about noise, or lower still.
