NFC Door locks

Hi,

Anyone any recommendations on door locks for a business premises that uses an NFC card to open on entering and exiting, but also allows us to then track card reads via a computer to see who's come in and gone out?

We'd also like to use them internally to track who is accessing our secure areas

We use this and these.

The software integrates with AD and you can use it with any network controller/access system you like.

We use Paxton Net2 software with their door controllers, which is a pretty common solution for SMBs.

Thanks, gives me something to look at.

Any idea on prices? talking about 4 doors maximum. NFC Cards etc I have experience with.

We deal with a few companies that use the Paxton system, seems to work OK. They moved from Biometric to RFID cards instead though, thumb prints were too unreliable and often took several attempts.

Paxton Net2 all the way for this IMO - the Windows client is very easy to use.

Paxton does not support NFC. They use Hitag2 em4100 and HID.

Pretty sure he’s either found a lock or been killed to death by now.
