Anyone looking forward to this?

Im a relatively new fan to the sport and loved my first season 2011.

Im a packers fan!

Going to watch it at Wembley in October. Pats vs Rams. Should be good.

Also, anyone seen the new Nike jerseys (Nike won the new deal for all kits) Deffo going to get me a packers one when they are released. Dont know what date that is though.

Giants fan here and always have been, cant wait for the new season to start. Hopefully the Giants can pick up where they left off from ie winning the SB back in Feb from the Pats...twice we have screwed them royally when it comes to the big one:p

But knowing our luck, we will struggle again this season to make the play offs...but would be nice if we could get to the final and defend the SB properly.

Raidernation!

Have toyed in the past with dropping support after many bad seasons and from a random dip came out with the Giants to go forward with... was put straight by some people in this forum though, told to stay faithful to the Raiders!
Well, they had a good season but the Giants went on to win the SB lol.

Regardless... Raidernation :D

Hardest schedule in the league this season....no way Giants are gonna repeat. Though i'm really looking forward to Wilson and Randle's rookie seasons. Also it would be great if Eli hit a 4000 yard year and put the whole "is he elite AND consistent" debate to bed.

But honestly....the offensive line is in need of a major upgrade at the Giants dont be surprised if its a forgettable year.

looking forward to this season, hopefully the rams can improve a bit more.

decent draft for us, nice split on offence and defence, with some help/backup for jackson and hopefully some targets down field for Bradford, fingers crossed that Quick picks up soon as possible, not necessarily in his receiving as much as causing trouble in the opponents defence.

outside of that hopefully some trading can be done to fill the gaps.

looking at the schedule it could have been a fair bit worse, just hope we can tough it out if things are close.

i'm hoping the saints can overcome having the book thrown at them by the league. losing head coach sean payton and defensive captain john vilma for a full season is going to hurt. hopefully brees will sign a long term contract soon, and the team will show strength in adversity and at least make a challenge for the playoffs.

think they could seriously struggle this season :(

feel sry for the fans, but they deserve what they got for the way they did things, not pleasant at all.

gregg williams apparently ran the same scheme at several other clubs he's coached at over the years, so why single out the saints? why not punish all of them? saints staff and players must have known about the scheme and didnt try to stop it, hence them being punished. but there are other teams and players who probably did the exact same thing and are left untouched. doesnt seem like justice to me.

anyway,

WHO DAT?

at a guess, cos they got caught in the unfortunate position of the people in charge deciding they want to make an example :(.

with things like this its never an overall retrospective thing, so the previous teams will be able to give a big sigh of relief they didn't get picked on.

Curious to see RG3/Luck. It'll be the usual contenders i suspect. injuries barring.

big step up for them i reckon, bit more pressure on Luck.

will be interesting to see if there given protective plays early on like the jets did with sanchez, or whether they'll work the play book as normal.

Likewise. Been a Raider since I was 16 and bought an official 'jersey'. 9 years later and it's still too big for me...damn those pads.

@moses - What University you play for? I currently play DT for Kingston and it's my last year next year too

Broncos fan here, due to that being the first jersey i ever brought =p

I see C4 are keeping their Sunday night game, but are ESPN going to show MNF again this year?

Think so, according to their website anyway. Just dumped £25 on a few bets for Week 1, hoping I'll win enough over the course of the season to get myself a new jersey.
