Second in, as a Pats fan I have no idea what the new season is going to bring. None of the WRs have ever caught a pass from Brady (outside of practice of course), and the defence still has some way to go to make the team more balanced. The Pats are still too reliant on the offence to get the job done, and they need to get a better defence so that if Brady has an off-day, the defence can step up and help. There have been some positive steps (re-signing Vollmer and Talib is great, and adding Wilson could help), but I think we need a proper shut-out CB to play alongside Talib, and another WR is a must. I'd love the Pats to sign Emmanuel Sanders and apparently there is still a chance we might, the 19th April is the deadline for restricted free-agent offers.
The draft will also be very interesting and could improve the team. In its current state, I think the team is capable of winning the Superbowl, so long as the key guys stay fit at the important times. Another playoff run without Gronk must be avoided.
