NFL 2015 Season

Being an Eagles fan I hate the Patriots but you can't be serious..

4 game ban for Tom Brady
$1,000,000 fine, 2016 first round draft pick and 2017 fourth round draft pick..

ALL of that based on "It's more probable than not" and "Tom Brady refused to give us his personal phone" Considering the maximum fine for tampering with game equipment is $25,000 this is an absolutely absurd penalisation for something that in all respects had absolutely no impact on the game whatsoever. Furthermore they found a few of Indianapolis' balls below the limit too but "didn't have enough time" to test more of them... This was a massively rigged investigation.

I don't think under ANY investigation unless it is criminal should your PERSONAL phone need to be taken away, considering he spent almost an entire day in an interview room with them I would say that he co-operated fully and if the only gripe they have is about not handing over his personal phone and the fact that they believe he lied even without any evidence. I really hope Brady and the Pats stick it to the NFL somehow and fight this all the way and get that useless Commissioner fired once and for all.

This has really put a sour start for what I had anticipated to be a very good potential season this year.

Totally agree, the Patriots do have previous since Kraft has owned them and I dislike them(in an admiring way) but the league here seem to have broken the law.

I would love it if they said they won't turn up for the games Brady is suspended or something ridiculous like that.

The NFL is a bit of a joke when it comes to punishments of guilty players let alone one they can't find guilt for, maybe it is like the Rio Ferdinand "missed drugs test"
