NFL 2016 Season

Raiders over Ravens......its only one win but its a good one to get things going.
Here's hoping we can get to .500 this year

Must be tough being a Rams fan!

like you wouldn't believe, what really hurts is that for me they do seem to improve the team each year but they just have no consistancy.

our defence can be outstanding, then they let 17 in against the mess that is washington.

as i've mentioned before, our offence has been iffy, but i think foles will improve it, and i'm hoping some of the new offensive line can build up to offer him more protection than the qb's usually get.

then theres gurley, first round pick could be awesome and could end up being an utter waste, but we're not even likely to find out until the 2nd part of the season by which time we'll be stuffed again but heres to 2016..... :D

Well the Rams have the Steelers this weekend in St Louis (this forum needs a rubs hands emote).

The Steelers have Le'veon Bell back from suspension this weekend, but given the Rams front line I rather Roethlisberger throws it a lot. Donald, Fairley, Quinn and Ogletree are all excellent (especially Donald given he's only been in the league 1 year).

could go either way tbh, you mention the front line, but they didn't cause enough issues for washington so steelers should definately have a decent chance unfortunately for us :(

As long as we can protect Ben against the Rams front 7 then I think we can do a lot of damage with our wideouts. I also hope that DeAngelo sees a lot of the ball even though Le'veon is back. I have been very impressed with Him in the first two games. If we can play as well as we did against the 49'ers then we should win.

I'm not quite sure why everyone think's we're a mess tbh. Sure, we've not been great of recent seasons and we gave away far too much for RG3, but if we can put that debacle behind us, we've got a decent base now.

Going in to the Giants game we had the #1 rush offence and the #1 defence in the league. Granted, this was against just the Dolphins and Rams, but not what you would expect from a team that many said would be picking first next April.

We've had talent on offence for a few years now, just not the line to let it happen, but we drafted a new guard and changed a couple of other places I think, now they're playing pretty good. When we get Jackson back, we could be quite dangerous.

Even though we lost a star DE, we still have a very sturdy front 7. Our secondary is still a little suspect, but better than previous seasons.

I can see us winning 7 games this season, and generally being much more competitive. With Scott McCloughan on board, I think we finally have something to look forward to. If he can repeat what he did in San Fran and then Seattle, we might be coming back round to some good seasons again finally.

another woeful performance :(, managed to keep the score down so i guess thats about the only thing going for that show.

where do i start:

1) no running game at all

2) i was hoping foles was going to be a step up from what we had but some poor decisions tonight.

3) defence don't seem to realise they need to know where the ball is not just concentrate on the players when a throw is coming.

outside of that the morons messed the pyros up so it damaged the turf.

hope big ben is ok, looked nasty fingers crossed it isn't :(, and a shame bell was fit enough to return today

what's this with the raiders winning again

I didn't see that game, so don't know specifically what you're talking about, but if your in man coverage, it's really not that easy. In a noisy stadium it can be hard to tell when the ball is in the air and you can't be looking round for it unless you know it's imminent.

i know its not easy, but you can't just watch the guy your playing and rely on him giving you a clue as to when the balls going to arrive.
