NFL 2021 Season

Not following the Niners too much, how much of Lance have we seen? Is he not the guy?

I'm not a Niners fan, although I've seen them a few times including that bad opener against the Bears. I think the problem is we haven't really seen anything from him and from the get-go he was recognised as a 'project' really needing long-term development.

The injury clouds that although I can imagine if they still have a need for a QB next year they would probably have to continue with Lance given the draft capitol they gave up. But if they find a QB good enough by accident then that opens options. Something the Niners have experienced in their recent history.

Man, I was gutted about the Dolphins Bills game. Didn't plan to watch any live but I got into bed at half 11 and was wide awake. As a result, watched the first half, went to bed and watched the rest on Gamepass on Sunday morning.

Does anyone know a good site or report which list the best games of the weekend but without telling you the score? Basically so I can sit down through the week and watch other (good) games but not know the score beforehand.

#FinsUp!

It's funny. I was thinking I need a service like this. There have been some amazing games this year and a few of them I've missed as I might not have guessed that I needed to watch them.

Anyone else see the bizarre Raiders Patriots ending? I feel bad for the Pats guy who clearly just had a brain fart. I think the fact Stevenson pitched back to him, kind of made him panic like it was a 'must not let the play end' type thing, when of course he should have just knelt and gone to overtime.

I have tried searching 'Best games to watch NFL Week 14' for example or 'Season 22/23' but they all seem to be previews unfortunately.

I saw the last play yeah, pretty strange one. On that note, can I ask if there are any rules regarding when there are multiple pitches in one play? Obviously it doesn't happen often so it's never really covered. Is there any rules regarding forwards? Backwards? Ahead or behind the line of scrimmage?

You can lateral as many times as you want, anywhere on the pitch. Teams don't do it... well, for the reason we saw. There can only be one forward pass and it must come from behind the line of scrimmage (well, a part of the player must be still behind the line of scrimmage, like a foot for example)

The method the pass of the ball happens, doesn't matter. Overhand/traditional pass but backward then it's a running play. Shovel/pitch but forward then it's a passing play.

That was hilarious, even more so because it was against the Pats and seeing Mac Jones getting flattened at the end was the icing on the cake.

From someone who knows nothing about the sport, what is the best way to get into NFL and learn the rules of the game?
The Amazon All or Nothing series are worth watching. It was the Cardinals season that got me into it years ago as I knew nothing about it before watching that. Both the NFL and Wolverines ones are good.

Looking better for Hamlin, Kaiir Elam just tweeted saying he's awake and responsive and the Bills have said he's neurologically intact. Hopefully he'll be cheering on when we win the SB for him!

Some fun games last night. To steal someone else's quote; impeccable tank from the Bears. Was quite dramatic watching the Texans/Colts trade blows and their close finish to help the Bears fall into the first pick. Even sucking takes a fair bit of fortune to be the best at it and land the first pic. So a beneficial outcome from this season.

I can't help but think we would be best trading back and trying to get as much draft capitol back in return as possible. Although obviously all out of our control and needs a trade partner who wants a QB bad enough. I did read last night, lots of 'might take a QB' / 'not 100% happy with Fields' being the narrative driven out of Chicago now.
