I have an Asus A8n32-SLI Deluxe, and the speskers constantly make a ZZZzZzzZZZZ buzzing noise, like its interfearance, you can hear like a squeel eveythime i move the mouse as well, and its getting right on my ****. I took the machine to work, and it does exactly the same there, so it can't be the speakers, and it aint near anything to give interfearance?? What can it be, any ideas lads?

its just the onboard sound, its naff :) i used to have the exact same probs, i tried everything to fix it, i went and bought a audigy2 zs last week and now i have perfect sound and its really a lot better quality, more than i expected at least

soundstorm aint naff at all. and i got that wierd squeeling on most boards ive owned, mine sounded like it was commin fromt he g-card or psu though??? usually when i moved the mouse or scrolled???

as for buzzing. try new drivers. i was uing 6.14 beta's from guru3d, infact still am on my NF3. they are betas but have been out for over a year now and i find them very stable, havnt found any problems with them. and the worked a lot better than the latest ont he nvidia webby!

The analog out of the Nforce/Soundstorm audio is pretty poor and no better than just about any other onboard sound solution to be honest (poor DAC).
This is not elitism btw, but seriously, if you'd be very hard pressed to not to notice the very significant difference from going soundstorm to Audigy 2.. and the later is by no mean considered high end ;)
It wouldn't be a mistake to get a dedicated sound card if you can't sort this buzzing problem if that's any consolation :)

I have already muted all the usual suspects, line in, aux etc. Tried updated drivers, but not the betas mentioned, i might give them ago.

I had thought about the PSU actually.
I'll take a sound card home today and see what happens.
