just a quick question about this because its making racing very hard.

this mostly happens in the vw golf at the start but can happen in drag races too.
when i come out of corners the car never wants to straighted up if i tap a direction to straighten it starts to do drift to the side and if i correct it goes the other way.
when im coming on to long straights im just swerving all the way down, i thought it was my xbox pad but ive calibrated it but its still happening.

in some drag races if i get a perfect start it lurches to the right or left and i can never get it going straight because the above happens

is this just the games wierd handling or is my pad not calibrating properly. i havent got any of the driver aids on so nothing is trying to correct anything. its becoming a real pain because it tends to end up me fish tailing and swerving in to rocks or telegraph poles and totaling the car :(

Yes, same thing happens to me with my xbox 360pad. Unpluggged it's perfectly straight, but plugged in it's all over the place.

I've kind of corrected the issue by using Xpadder.exe and setting the deadzone to 35%

It still veers off to a side sligthly but it's I can manage to correct it.

If I need to I could probaly make the dead zone a little higher and it'll be fine.

ive tried xpadder just now but it doesnt seem to work ingame.

tried xbcd too but that doesnt work

im using a wireless pad with the wireless adapter for windows if that makes any difference

I get the same problem, I used to be able to do drag races without steering, now I have to steer which slows you're time down.
