NFSMW Graphics Anomaly

Hi all! I've OC'd my 6800LE and 3000+ Newie, and since a recent re-format of HDD and subsequent XP re-install I've noticed a failing.

I can play NFSMW with good fps for about 7mins, then after a that it drops right down to an unacceptable level. The part thats got me is if I Alt>Tab out and straight back in (no wait at all, just out and back) the fps jump straight back up to what they should be.

What the problem? TIA!

You’ll find allot of people with Nvidia card have problems with that game myself being one of them.

On my 7800 GT i get a glitching every so many seconds especially going round corners.

I tried upgrading from 1gb of ram to 2 Gbs of ram but in that game it made no difference.

Have a look on the net theres a few pages about tweaking the registry for need for speed most wanted.
