Tecmo announced the first expansion pack for Ninja Gaiden Sigma is a survival mode where you try to kill as many enemies as you can with limited health. The bonus content is not free; Tecmo has it priced for 315 yen ($3) in Japan. In September the second expansion pack comes out, which adds in a time attack and in October players will be able to try out the survival mode with Rachel and her new costume. The price for the other two expansion packs has not been announced, but they are likely to be sold at a similar price.

No announcement about a Uk/US price or date yet but, $3 is very resonable in my opinion. I love this game so anything else to increase its length is a good thing IMO

Just out of curiousity are these features already in the xbox game, Ninja Gaiden:Black ?

Would be weird for them to charge for features already in Black, as NGS is supposed to be a port with extra features.

Not having played Black I have no idea if survival mode and time attack are in there already, out of the box.

^No they weren't, though these sorts of things should have already been included in NGS IMO. Things I would consider paying for the game would be the equivalent of the huricane packs from the original Ninja gaiden on xbox where they actually changed a lot of the game (mostly for the better)

I'm not too fussed though since those kind of things that they are releasing dont really interest me
