I have just been delivered a nice and shiney NH-C14 to fit in side my case :D

Within one of the boxes in the pack there is a support bar which is to help when moving the system or to reduce vibrations.

Do i really need to install this?

Thanks for the quick reply, just looked at the link in your sig and its review told me as much! (should have done this myself)

It also mentioned that the pipes should be facing towards the top of the case, as I've got a AMD setup do you know if i can do this or is it only on intel's ones?

It's fine if they face the sides but facing the top gives the best performance. Just make sure it doesn't face South. Whether you can make it face North will depend entirely on how far up the CPU socket is on your motherboard and whether there's enough clearance at the top of your case. The best thing would be to try it yourself. Otherwise, just have the pipes facing the side instead.
