Hi guys, relatively new to this scene and i've been looking for some advice regarding noctua's NH-D14.

I have been looking at videos and for the most part peoples problems come from the cooler not fitting, now I've checked that my case can support the size of the cooler(which is a cm storm enforcer) and it seems that it can, but my problem then comes from the clearance on the ram slots, and with most people it seems to cover their slots. I only run 2 dimms so would it be ok for me as long as I put them in the far away slots?

I also think I could have a problem with my motherboard, in that all of the videos I've seen everyone seems to have ATX mobo's, but mine is a uATX, and it seems as if the ram slots are a lot closer to the cpu on this than most motherboards, I could be completely wrong, but I'd rather not go dropping £65 on a cooler that would require me to either swap out my RAM for some low profile versions, or completely buy a new motherboard. Probably serves me right for skimping on certain pieces in the first place :P

No idea how I'd go about measuring it hypothetically if it was in my case either as I have no idea where it would start, or if its centred perfectly over the CPU itself.

Anyway thanks for anyones help, as it would be appreciated. Also heres a list of all the relevant parts:

Case: CM Storm Enforcer
Current Cooler: hyper tx3 Evo
Motherboard: M5A78L-M/USB3 (piece of garbage)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2X4GB

Much appreciated again ladies and gents.

I run an mATX motherboard with a D14 and it works fine, that won't be your problem..

The RAM will if you have the High Profile Vengaence RAM it willcollide with the air cooler.. My D14 covers 2/3 RAM slots, and my XMS3 sits under it, while the Vengaence heatsinks will not, they will collide.

So I couldn't just put the dimms in the last 2 slots? RAM is kinda expensive atm so if I could avoid swapping it that would be great
