I have had some issues in the past with AIO systems and have been using a NH-D15 after my previous corsair aio pump failed. My question is, obviously AMD have not released details of their new CPU's, and we've had no tests, but is it likely that my NH-D15 will be fine for their new 8 core CPU or is water cooling probably recommended? I don't overclock or anything.

Im on an older intel 8700k atm and will be handing it over to my brother when i upgrade. I dont have any experience with AMD cpu temps and how air cooling goes with them.

Thanks!

An NH-D15 will handle most things. I've got the older NH-D14 on my 3900X and it's fine.

Noctua will send you the mounting brackets for free if you change platforms and need them.

lol yes it'll handle it fine. Have a NHD-14 on my 3950X with no issues whatsoever, have 2 TC14PE Phanteks which are a little less efficient than the NHD-15 on a 9900k and 3900X but the same more or less with no issue.
