nHancer wont load (nicks FSX Tune out of date)

Im trying to follow NickN's guide to tweaking FSX and he suggest using nHancer but it wont load - ive read that its no longer updated by creator and it wont load due to driver version

can anyone help me get this loaded?

Try going into the xml config file for the exe and set the check for version value to 0. See if that helps but remember nhancer was only designed to work for nVidia driver before the 257.xx series, from what I understand about it.

That's really all I can help you with regarding Nvidia cards, I have not used one in a while and as you will see from my sig i'm using a ati/amd 5870 for FSX. Have been thinking about getting a GTX 580 but really can't see the benefits right now for a GPU upgrade.. Will wait till intel brings out the new CPU's (2011) with more cores and will do a full system update then and will see if Nvidia has the better card then for FSX.
