NIC1394 Driver ?

Hi,

Just done a fresh install of Xp SP2 nlite with drivers and update packs integrated etc, now when i have booted the system everything is fine however in device manager i have a device that has not got a driver "NIC1394" i think it's the firewire ethernet thing, however i have installed all ethernet drivers and chipset drivers etc it is a texas instruments, anyone know where i could get this driver from?

Are the standard firewire drivers installed ie is the firewire port working? As the ethernet over firewire is an addition to this and unless a suitable cable is connected will show as disconnected.

Have you tried unpacking your motherboard drivers and pointing the driver update prompt for the NIC1394 card to that folder?

What motherboard have you got?
