Nice big scratch

I just managed to scratch a big chunk out of the wing of my ZR by parking too close to the garage door (electric), anyone got a clue how best to go about fixing it?

Door was opening, it was my bro who did it, obviously he didnt think to stop it opening after hearing the scraping sound. :rolleyes:

It looks like its gone down to the metal which is bad, assuming the bodywork isnt actually dented you *could* do it with colour matched paint and laquer quite effectivly - but it would take time and patience to build up enough layers to make it invisible.

I have been doing a lot of body work stuff on my RX8 in prep for selling it as there was a good chunk taken off on the rear bumper (before I bought it) that went right down to the plastic so its taken a lot of time to build up the paint then the laquer get it down smooth n shiny.

I'll post a pic when its completed but that is almost invisible now, paint last layer of laquer on last night - need to wet n dry it smooth then polish it shiny.
