It's something to do with colour temperature and the way our eyes auto adjust - as it were.
I think some guy was talking about it Photos and vid a while back.
Still...very cool

humm is that an illusion. Just looks like they change the image after 0.1 seconds. weather you move your eyes or not it turns black and white.

Yeh it is, you never seen your vision go funny after looking at a horrible pink website for a few mins? Everything goes a funny shade of green or something? This is the same idea, don't know the science behind it but I do know that it's real
