Well, i've had a AMD FX-55 Clawhammer CPU in my machine for years now, and i think it's time to say bye bye.
I'd like to upgrade with a dual core CPU.
I don't encode or anything like that, my pc is mainly used for gaming. My Mobo is a Asus A8N SLI Deluxe, with 2 GB of DDR memory. Any suggestions? My budget is anything up to 100 pounds i guess, and i don't know much about the Intel side of things.

Thanks for the reply, some of the AMD chips look interesting. I not interested in selling my motherboard at the moment. Do those Conroe cores out perform the fx-55 even though their only 1.6ghz?
Sorry about the lack of knowledge, i'm still 3 years back in time when i think about CPU's :D
