I have a Logitech MX1000 mouse that I must have had for at least 6-7 years and its been the best mouse I've ever had!
Just recently its been hit and miss as to whether the charging cradle has worked so I decided to e-mail Logitech to see if there was anything they could do....
Within a day they e-mailed me back to say it was out of warranty (obviously!
) but they would offer me a 50% discount on a replacement product from their on-line store! 
Well impressed - they didnt have to do anything and I've saved a bundle on a replacement that I would have bought anyway!
Just thought I'd share.....
