nice parts?

Hmmmm
GPU- for that price Go for the MSI Lightning which is also bundled with 8 games as well as a M65 mouse and a mouse mat OR go for a cheaper.
CPU-get retail for warranty
Mobo- the LX2 is better but if you want dual card setup, Gigabyte Z77X-D3H
HDD-get a Seagate Brracuda 1TB
PSU- depends if you want single or dual GPU ready, 550w should be enough for single card, modular http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-060-OC&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=2466
RAM- cheaper, http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-000-AR&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517
Cooler- the SB-e is on offer at £48 atm and you dont need to buy TIM as it comes with the cooler.

haha dont worry about it, however i would like to just change a few things as i like to keep the style of the pc looking slick :D and the GPU wont be on offer when i buy these things so shall i still buy it on its own?

edit: Also the OEM has Integrated HD 4000 Graphics and the retail only has 2500, does that make a difference?

A few comments:

The high end 7970s are excellent cards, but do you need that level of performance? You could get a 7950 for a lot less, and they perform almost as well.

With Haswell you get HD4600 graphics integrated. On a new system with this budget you shouldn't buy Ivy Bridge.

You don't need anything near 750W for this system, unless you intend to put two graphics cards in there.

If it says that, then its a mistake. Both have HD4000 :)

Anyways, you should be looking at the 4670K and a Z87 motherboard, not a 3570K and a Z77 motherboard. The 4670K is the successor/replacement for the 3570K, and Z87 is the new chipset to match. :)

i know i should be looking at the new generation things however the 4670K and a Z87 motherboard come to £329 and the 3570K and a Z77 motherboard only come to £266

Yeah. That's much improved.

You can take off the thermal compound unless you specifically want to use that brand. If you think you'll need more disk space you could also get 1TB instead for £10 extra.

You may have to vary the graphics card depending on when you order. I'd still consider a 7950 overclocked though for £250ish unless you're at higher than 1920x1200.

Get the D3HP instead of the HD3 if you can. Its only a few quid more and is a much better board.

i was only ment to go up to £1000 but im sure someone will lend me £200 just untill the end of next month, but i will be upgrading my computer over a couple of years so when i have more money ill buy a water cooler for my cpu :D

Get the D3HP mate. :p It's better for overclocking than the HD3 :)

You might come to be thankful of it if you plan on watercooling and such. :)
