My 360's power supply just went boom and took the house electric out with it!

Will I have to send MS the Power Supply AND the 360, or just the Power Supply?

lol that is nice....

sorry cant help with your question

I guess there's the possibility of the actual 360 getting damaged when the PSU went, so they'll probably ask for the whole lot back.

Edit: Looks like somebody won't be playing GoW for a while.

Well, I've got my friend here and he brought his 360 over so I tested the 360 with his cable and mine is fine.

And I will be playing GoW because he's going to London for a week for business so I'll be borrowing his cable :D

Hmm, I take it they're not official MS ones? I saw a site about a third party company selling 360 psu's but can't recall where on earth it was.

Itll get the thread closed.

(that should be enough indication)

Oh well, looking forward to it anyway, just getting on my nerves all the americans on my friends list are playing it.

Look at this way, by the time you get it they will probably have played through it all and you will have it still to go through.

I'll be going to GAME tomorrow, still under 12 months guarantee, hopefully they have these PSU's in stock or just gimme a brand new official one.

MS should be able to send you out a new one I'd have thought, just hope the PSU didn't take your 360 with it.

My friend who works @ game said normal policy is to replace the faulty part,

e.g. PS2 tower broke = get a replacement from them but only the tower.

Hoping they give me a new PSU for my broken one instead of asking for the whole package.

Playing on my 360 now on my other friends PSU unit, works fine :]
