Night of the living dead

The original 1968 version of Night of the Living dead as it turns out is in the public domain so it's legal to download. The only place I can find it is on archive.org but I have loads of problems downloading from there for some reason. Also they only have poor quality mp4 versions or an extremely large mpeg version. Does anyone know anywhere I could get it in DivX format or other similar format?

Just to make it clear again: It is not copyrighted therefore legal to download for free.

Like you I've only seen the archive.org MPEG2 version. I would just download it overnight?

I've had problems downloading that version. In IE the download wont start and in firefox it sort of starts but it just downloads a junk file. Also leaving it overnight is a problem since I can't sleep with the PC on.
