I have suffered with insomnia for loner than I care to remember and it really is crap.. been addicted to Zopiclone on and off for years now and generally can't fall asleep unless I take them, they are an awful drug for a start.

I don't remember the last time I fell asleep by being naturally tired :(

Have u tried Kirkland sleep aid that's sold in Costco America only but can be purchased on Amazon UK? I've heard a lot of people say it's better than any prescription sleep aid as it contains Doxylamine which is a muscle relaxant. Migraine tablets I used to take for bad migraines contained it on a smaller scale and they would make me fall asleep straight away

Not tried them no, but I've tried many other anti-histamines to no avail... I'll have a look into these though and give them a try, can't hurt!

I really want to be able to not take Zopiclone! they are so addictive it's a bloody nightmare, but it's the only thing that works.
 
Ive had 4 days off work, been going to bed about 5/6am each night, waking about 2pm.

Did same thing yesterday but last night I felt really tired about 8pm and fell asleep for 2 hours. Big mistake as I tried to go asleep properly at about 4am but well 3 hours later and it just is not happening.

Start work again today at midday so still few more hours to go :( Guess Ill just skip sleeping for tonight and hope it all goes back to normal tonight.
