Do we have many nightshift workers here who play?

I've been feeling the team play itch and picked up a new mic but people are few and far between at say 6 -11 am :p

You might have more luck playing with Australians. If the ping to Oceania isn't too lousy, then try and play on their servers.

When on nights I tend to get my gaming done before work and go straight to sleep when I get in.

But yea, team play is a no no when on shift.

Don`t you people like work when at work?:D

I'm the most senior person in the building when on nights :s

I wouldn't sit down for a multiplayer session while at work though and tend to try and get to bed soon after coming home as I find if I'm sleeping during the afternoon I never seem to get going. Swore I'd never do nights again as it just wrecks me so not happy I'm having to do a few at the moment - probably gonna look for another job in the long run (plus those I live with aren't happy about it as they often get disturbed even when I try to be quiet coming in and/or they feel constricted in what they can do during the day if I'm asleep).

When I worked nights (it was just for support cover so often nothing to do for 11 hours) we used to play Medal of Honor the Omaha Beach level just two of us and put the unlimited grenade mod on. That was fun trying to find your opponent then looking up as an arc of grenades appears towards your position. Think we used to play Unreal Tournament too. Also remember when Wimbledon was on playing a tennis game, and then making a line with chairs as a net in the room and playing tennis with frying pens. Also when Formula one was on playing that, then we also had two scooters and used to zoom around the floor making our own Formula one track. On the tight corners we had worn grooves in the carpet and I remember the Helpdesk Manager asking us what the grooves were and we blamed the cleaner's hoover. Also used to do the food challenge, placing an item of food in a most obvious place and seeing how long it took the day lot to find it. The record was a Mr Kipling Bakewell bun upside down on the face of the clock on the wall (we had 5 for different timezones and we stuck it on the Austrialian clock) (3 weeks) and in 2nd place was a frankfurter impaled on the coat hook on the coat stand next to the Managers desk (8 days). Ahhh them were the days.
