#1 & #4 are ace (although #4 seems a bit off kilter).

The long exposure ones are good, I think the last 2 are the best because there's something interesting in the background.

#1 is nice, I would try and lighten the left hand side of the picture just a tad though. I do like it though.

thanks for all the replies,

the big cooling tower and complex is salt end near hull, does lots of chemical type things - it's owned by BP anyway

personally not happy with number 1 cos i couldnt get wide enough to get both towers in (NEED a 10mm!)

Might well have been a nicer shot with both towers in, but even still its a nice shot, I like the contrast of colours in the sky. What kit you using?

great shots there. I really need to go out and have a go at some night stuff, but round my area im a bit weary of wondering around at night with my camera

well you dont walk round hull with hundreds of punds worth of kit at night.... but there were 3 of us - all with tripods, come and have a go if you think your hard enough

only problem we had was a security guy at the BP plant came out and asked us what we were up to

im using a canon 350d with the 18mm-55mm USM kit lens - most shots were at 18mm using an ND8

How about having a go at a panoramic shot on the first one? All the photos are superb anyway, I wish I could take photos like that!
