Can't see a thread for Nightingale and it's out on Tuesday!

Nightingale is a PVE open-world survival crafting game played solo or cooperatively with friends. Build, craft, fight and explore as you venture through mystical portals into a variety of amazing and fantastical realms.

Here's an 8m YouTube vid...

Any co-op game catches my eye and I think it looks interesting and will be giving it a go (although we don't have a launch price, yet) but will be keeping an eye on the 2h Steam refund window :)

I'll be keeping an eye on the feedback for this, had it on my wishlist since it was announced but was left very disappointed by the demo during Steams NextFest, so will be keeping an eye on release feedback

A mate got involved with the testing and he's really looking forward to it.
As a group this is right up our alley but got to start Enshrouded first after we've completed all the missions in Icarus.

The system specs are rather odd. They say a 3090 for 4k60 and then state a 13900K CPU is needed, makes no sense, why such a high CPU when the 1440P 60 one states a few gens old Intel? At 4K the CPU has less weight anyway, or is this because of the lack of CPU optimisation in unreal engine which is a long standing issue, even on UE5.... Why didn't they chuck in a 4070 Ti/Super instead for the minimum ultimate experience....

I get the feeling it's going to be a bug-fest with lack of optimisation.

Having watched a few people play this on twitch, i didn't really see anything that stood out from the the host of other games just like it. I'll probably pick it up in a sale and give it a go at some point.

It's like every other game coming out is an early access, survival crafting game. Has got to be the most oversaturated genre at the moment.

You're not wrong there, does sort of feel like new games are either souls likes or survival crafters. Theres another survival crafter coming in 3 weeks called Lightyear Frontier (though that one at least is coming to gamepass)

It’s only £14 on cdkeys, not worth a punt at that, no?

@Tombstone isn't Lightyear Frontier more a farming sim?
Sort of yeah, still has crafting / base building in it, I tried the demo of it during steam next fest, its not something I would buy based on that demo but as its "free" on gamepass I can foresee me playing it a little before Dragons Dogma 2 comes out next month at least :)

Is it free on gamepass? I had a look but couldn't see it.

I'm enjoying this more than enshrouded, that felt very bland, I will try it again but going to let it's dev cycle play out more. Nightingale has a great aesthetic and the gameplay isn't bad, enough to keep me playing for a while longer and not hit the refund button.
