NiGHTS into Dreams PC

Finally, after being available on consoles for a while, NiGHTS has made it onto Steam! This game is a cult classic, originally being one of the best selling titles on the Sega Saturn before getting a Japanese PS2 remake and finally a sequel on the Wii. And now Sega have remade the game in glorious HD!

The game is a non-traditional platformer, with the player taking on the role of NiGHTS as you fly through the levels collecting enough blue chips to free an Ideya from one of Wizeman's minions, with a number of boss fights along the way. Each level also has an online scoreboard as well now, you gain points for speed and collecting items throughout the level, as well as for how fast you defeat the bosses, adding replayability for those who enjoy beating their friends times.

I remember watching my mates play this on the Saturn and because I never owned one I never got to play it. I will purchase this just after xmas as I actually have no free cash right now. Just watching the video makes me feel young again!

I still remember playing the demo of this on the Saturn. I used to set the calander on there for Crimbo so I could play the xmas version haha

I'll nab this in the STEAM Sale with any luck, I just can't bring myself to pay full price for any games any more, been burnt far too often and it's become a matter of principle.

I already have the original Saturn version though, the Xmas NiGHTS Freebie/Demo, even have the NiGHTS Controller, a working Saturn and even a Saturn VGA Box... I just don't have any (working..) Monitors with a VGA connection or the adapters and I don't own a TV

On the plus side I found my Panzer Dragoon Saga Discs which will be getting a play through over Xmas once I sort out something to be able to watch it on! :cool:

Got this with a Saturn and the all singing dancing controller as well.. Impressed that it's ended up on steam for the masses to admire. Even though back in it's day it was epic. not sure how modern spoilt gamers will react to it.

Not too well I imagine. Not enough kill streaks and perks

I cannot wait for Christmas to be over tbh, the wife and child are at the inlaws for a week between boxing day and new years eve. I have 60% of Jet Set Radio and this to rummage through :cool:

He didn't succeed in finding things on my PC, though to be fair I couldn't find them either upon first looking...
