Nike Plus

I wasn't sure where to put this, as it comes under a few things.

I bought a Nike Plus armband for running (An official one) and was dismayed to see that my Nano doesn't fit into it! It's a new one that's more square and smaller than the old one, and it's too fat for the sleeve, fits badly and the distance between the screen and the wheel for the old nano isn't subtle enough for you to notice that it's failing to fit.

Has anybody else noticed this? I couldn't find anything on Google!

Aye, they were designed for the old ones. Simple as that really

The Nike official armbands are designed for first and second generation nanos.

I bought a Marware Sportsuit Relay for my 2G Nano, it came with a free pocket for the sensor that velcroed to my laces. I've since replaced the shoes for a pair of Nike Zoom Triax with the hole in the sole, which is a far neater solution but it makes it harder to switch off the sensor when I'm done running.

Just get the 3g version of the same armband I've got - just Play around on google for it and I'm sure you'll find it

I bought a third party one in the end. The velcro's stitched on instead of glued on, it looks quite robust and will fit my new Nano! Woo!

Next item: Pair of trainers. Mine need replacing anyway.
