bought it yesterday. seems like something i'll never use though. has anyone else got it?

i havent got the trainers but understand you can buy a little pouch jobby for your trainers that works fine?

any thoughts on it?

anyone fancy a challenge?
 
Quite interested in this but I'm not willing to knife out for a new pair of trainers. So how does it work with normal trainers?

well thats what im not sure on. ive seen these nike pouches on ebay and they are meant to work the same but i want someone whos got one to confirm this.
 
I have one, and slip it under my laces, and i can run all day like that!

Really nice bit of kit imo, great for motivation.

Can i ask why the hell you bought it, if you dont know what it is and whether you will use it :confused: :p

I have the Nike+ and use it every time I go running (about an hours time to be exact) it doenst really do anything but just makes it more fun and interesting to me! Seleting song playlists and having the power song is cool! Oh and when you beat your own PB Lance Armstrong sends you a little message to your headphones lol!
Without the proper shoes use this little device - can get them off ebay for about a pound!!

Or you can buy these badboys which I did about a month ago which feels like your running on clouds and has the little compartment for the little chip.

Can someone fill me in on what this thing does , I have been to the website but need it in basic terms.
Whats it cost etc..
 
Basically what it does is track how far and fast your run is and communicates this with your ipod and then gives you updates through a voice to your headphones for instance "5miles complete average speed of 6mph" or something.
It has other little features involved to.
Then once your done you upload your runs and it graphs them for you and saves all your times and PB's etc
Pretty cool piece of kit and will only cost 20pounds
 
Thanks for that, is it compatible with all ipods or only certain ones? Ive got a shuffle and a video but the video is a tad big to run with.

Can't fault it, the nike+ system is superb for an all in one system, also has great motivation so you can try to beat your own records etc.

how much were those trainers though? they seem to be really expensive?

i'll have to get one of those pouches too. :cool:
