I am looking at buying a decent, sharp lens for general use on my D7000 and out in the field macro/close work.
I usually use my fantastic Tokina 11-16mm for landscape and close-up nature shots (because it IS THAT SHARP!!) and a 55-200mm Nikkor for zoomed (not used much).
I have seen some Nikon 28-105Mm F3.5-4.5 Af Zoom around 2nd hand for around £120, so does it looks like an ideal 18-55mm replacement? Or should I save my pennies and get something like the Tamron AF 90mm f/2.8 Di SP A/M 1:1 Macro Lens and still lug my 18-55mm around?
The idea is to use a len to compliment my outdoor photography for sharp macro/portrait/close landscape work, that will add extra interest to my epic wide shots with the Tokina.
