Nikon 55 - 200mm DX VR lens

If you have a search on flickr you'll probably find a group that has pics taken with this lens.

i've got that lens and i think it's good, no probs with it. i have to be honest though, the reason i bought it was because it is about £80 less than the 55-300 and as a relatively new hobbyist i'm keeping a reasonably tight rein on the associated spending on photography 'stuff'

nb. they are all 'as taken' (apart from being resized & converted from RAW)

Heres a few from my flickr. I like this lens, it's my second, complementing the 18-55. I used it with my D70, but now I have a D7000 I think I wan't to upgrade. I was happy with my holiday photos on the sunny days, but with photos such as the runners on a cloudy day, at a longer length it can push the iso up.

Excuse the box in this first one, it was just a test shot but came out nicely.
