Nikon d5100 extra battery advice

So going to France in 3 weeks and need an extra battery to go with my d5100, I would like to buy the original ones but they seems extortionate compared to the after market ones which goes around half the price. I have however read that the after markets not working properly after the first couple of times. Should I muster up the cash and just get the en el 14?

Seems like I've should have bought it when it was low £20s lol, it's at £28 on amazon at the moment.

Update. Got one from amazon but didn't go for the original just got one that got lots of good reviews for £13 and used the rest for a better strap than the original nikon one. Hopefully the battery works ok i don't expect it to outperform the original but I hope it's decent enough as a backup.

Got the delivery now it's the maxsima branded one and it came fully charged. So far it works after a couple turn off and on but I I will test it thoroughly before the trip. The exploding story is a bit scary though lol.
