Hi guys

I have read a lot of reviews and this camera seems to be one of the best around for the £500 price.

Anyway I have bit the bullet and bought one.

It's being delivered tomorrow, between 7am and noon. Looking forward to playing with it tmorrow.

Big upgrade over my Canon 400D :D

I've had it for the last few months. Minus a few quirks it is a wonderful camera that takes extremely versatile raws :) I recommend the Nikon 35mm f1.8g. Reminds me I should really put some stuff on my Flickr. Put some stuff on my Flickr :)

Good choice, i moved from canon to nikon and have not looked back, Inazuma is right nikon raws are fantastic, their dynamic range is very good.

I also agree with him on the nikon 35mm 1.8g, gives equivalent 52.5mm on DX, is sharp, quick to focus and renders colours well

Well camera arrived this morning. Had a quick play so far, seems great. Feature rich and image quality even with the kit lens is excellent.

My xmas list for my wife are 2 lenses and some filters :D
