always wanted a full frame camera but the review on the Nikon is excellent.
has anybody had experience of using both.
not interested in shooting sports or video just want some sharp great natural colour looking photos of my cats and family.dont like over saturated colours.
if i buy the 6d will the 50mm 1.8 not be a good match for it.ive read that FF can bring problems that smaller sensors don't get with certain lenses.
I'm more concerned with great IQ rather than too much how the camera handles and weatherproofing etc.
would putting an expensive L lens on my 600d give me as good a result as a poorer lens on the other 2?

thanks if you managed to get all the way through without getting bored.:)

good questions.
ok first to answer vertigo,i have the kit lens 18-55 iii,55-250is ii and the 50mm1.8.
Rojin, sometimes the pictures seem a little dull and less sharp than the Olympus epl5 with 45mm1.8 and even the canon g15.
i don't totally dislike them but i guess I've always wanted a FF camera and can't afford a 5Diii.cant be more specific right now

Well generally I'd always advocate glass before body. Obviously the 18-55 and 55-250 will be useless on full frame. The nifty fifty is a decent lens and stonking value for money but not sure how it'll fare on full frame compared to a crop - lenses which are soft towards the edges can fare better on crop due to the "sweet spot" effect.

Full frame is undoubtedly great and indeed is where I'm going next but I think you're going to be a bit limited with only the 50mm on it. I'd recommend trying to find something like a used 24-105 at a minimum.
