Hi all,

First time poster in the photography section.

Me and the other half are off to the USA soon and will be visiting New York, Washington and Miami. I'm thinking of purchasing an UWA or a fisheye lens to try and add a bit more flair to the photos I'll be taking of the city.
I also take a lot of landscape shots while touring on the motorbike (think Alpine landscapes, lakes etc) which I think would benefit from one of these lenses.

My camera is a Nikon D3200 and I currently have an 18-270mm zoom lens and a 35mm that see a fair bit of use. Unfortunately, the zoom lens has quite a lot of distortion down at 18mm.
To try and keep the cost as low as possible I'd probably be looking at a used lens from a photography dealer.

What would people recommend looking at and what kind of budget would I likely need to make a worthwhile investment?

Auto focus and semi-auto modes are a must have for me.

Thanks, the Tokina lenses seem to be much better priced than the Nikon and Sigma equivalents and the reviews look good. Definitely something to consider.

I'm really struggling with choosing between the wide angle and fisheye lenses. I love the fisheye effects on landscape and architectural shots (most of my photography) but the wide angle will be much more useful day to day and for portraiture!
