Nildram going down hill???

Ay up peeps has anyone else noticed nildram's service getting worse ? ive been with them for nearly 3 years at first the service was spot on but the past few months its been disconnecting every 2 hours or so, and sometimes wont come back on for over an hour!

Im thinking about going to a different isp but not sure which one? a few ppl have recommended ukonline and pipex ?

what do you think ?
 
Yeah I know what you mean, my service from them has been pretty much rubbish and its obviously getting worse as they are expanding. I would change ISP's but my parents don't realise when the problems start occurring. The bandwidth limit's pretty sweet though and when the internet does work at its best - Im getting 750kb/s on my "6mb connection".

Nildram was taken over by Pipex in 2004. Probably the reason why they are going down hill. Avoid.
 
I have used Nildram for a number of years and have never had a problem, never disconnects and always up and stable. Perhaps it's because I live less than a mile away from their head office but I wouldn't have thought that would have made any difference? No complaints here.
 
Ive had the same problems and I had to even downgrade to 2meg because their new adsl2 connection was just worthless - kept disconnecting.

I guess I will be moving internet then as I hear Pipex is terrible!
