Both these movies are out in a couple of weeks. I've pre ordered both. But which would you watch first?

Ninja
Directed by Isaac (Undisputed 2) Florentine. Stars Scott Atkins. Straight to DVD.
A low budget fight flick that hopefully won't rely too much on wire work or CGI. (His costume is laughable)
From Nu Image, the producers of every shi##y CGI Shark/Octopus flick you can think of, oh & Rambo.

Ninja Assassin
Big budget whackfest from Dark Castle. Lots of CGI/wirework??
CGI blood? :(

I guess Ninja won't be as slick looking as Assassin, maybe I should just flick a coin :)

Well I got a chance to watch them both back to back at a mates...
neither are worth buying :( I'm truely shocked that most who replied prefered the martial arts-less Ninja Assassin. Hardly any contact fighting at all in this. ballet dancing with a hideous coating of GCI. At least Scott Adkins threw a few kicks now and again in Ninja.
I wouldn't watch either again though.
Ninja 5/10
Ninja Assassin 3/10

Not seen Ninja Assassin yet, all I know is that it features Rain. :p

I've seen Ninja though and whilst it is a typical low-budget martial arts flick with a little throwback to the 70's/80's cliches i.e. white guy being the "one" (Not to sound racist here), some of the fighting and choreography is actually pretty good.
