*** Ninja Gaiden II - Official Thread ***

Hey all,

anyone else MEGA EXCITED about this? Just pre-ordered it today, I know its early but I CANT WAIT!

Can see myself dropping everything to play this, I remember shovelling HOURS into Ninja Gaiden on the original Xbox and even bought it again when I had a PS3 for a short while!

I do hope they keep Decaps in there and I hope its also hard as nails! (keep the noobs out!)

Not too impressed but I bet it will rock when released and in full HD, if it looks anything like Sigma I'll be happy!

Anyone else got their pre-orders in? Some places are even giving 1000 free MS Points if you pre-order.

:0 I enjoy them both, but progress in NG seems more satisfying because its harder.

Wheres those chaps on here who play NG non stop to tell me that I'm a pansy for saying its hard?

The game will consist of four difficulties: Path Of The Acolyte being the easiest, followed by Path Of The Warrior, Path Of The Mentor, and Path Of The Master Ninja being the hardest.

:( 1 difficulty is good enough and an uber hard one if you complete it!

EDIT - Got a glass of cola, crisps, chocs....what else? (work....tomorrow? hmmmmm)

Super Edit - Anyone find that you seem to get more blue essence off of enemies and that healing/saving statue takes the edge off of playing as a Warrior? (I am a Warrior! Alpha too)

God this game is driving me nuts, really enjoyed the first couple of levels. Now im at some bit where i have to cross a gap using a bar, yet there are archers on the other side so whenever i try to cross they knock me off, what the **** am i supposed to do about it?

In fact these damn archers seem intent on ruining my enjoyment of the game, in combat it seems to be impossible to avoid their arrows.

Can you not kill them off with your arrow before you cross?
 
Anyone noticed how annoyingly inconsistent this can be? I know randomness is great but, i'm on the bit where kebab was having trouble with archers, the first time round it was fine killed them all started to go across the wire and there was a bleeding archer at the bottom on the ground I couldnt get unless I got across and he kept knocking me off!

So...I restart, now theres loads of these flying things everywhere! Where were they the first time round?!!

Those things are easy anyway the game auto aims to them 2 arrows will kill them so just Jump double tap b to shoot 2 arrows and kill them, they always have arrows around when needed anyway on a dead body or what not :)

Cheers man! (Jeez needing advice on the 3rd level! Maybe I should have chosen the path of the Acolyte........)
