Ninja Gaiden Sigma PS3

Is there any reason not to get the US version?

I'll be away for a month soon, but have made up a list of games I wanna get when I get back, and Ninja Gaiden is one of them.

If the UK version has been censored, I'll probably order the US version.
Wanted to check here first if there are any downsides?
ie. is there an online aspect, which would be limited to States side servers only?

I'm sure that the missing decaps doesn't make a huge difference to the enjoyment of the game, but seeing as I haven't ordered it yet, when I do, I may as well get the one that isn't censored.

Wouldnt think it would be a problem using the US version , i got US version of a couple of games and it doesnt seem to be a affected. Theres no MP on the game and the DLC wouldnt make any difference as you could always download from the US store if you needed to (cant see why you would though).
I dont miss the decaps, im to busy playing to notice but you could probably get it cheaper over in the US anyway.
The only problem is that i dont think you can trade it in anywhere, but ive not tried it with any of my games, and you need a NTSC compatable TV, which most people have now.

On a different note, you can tell its a Team Ninja game, I keep getting put off by Rachael's wobble vision if you know what i mean ;)
 
I bought mine yesterday but so far not managed a decap on anyone but I've only played the 1st level so far.

If it doesn't have it in the UK version it's going on egay and I'll get the US version asap. Anyone confirm this yet?
 
By the way the collectors edition code is UP, DOWN, LEFT, DOWN, RIGHT, UP, SQUARE on the 'Mission Select' screen and it will unlock the 5 extra missions

After umming and awwing about this game and countless run throughs on the demo i picked this up today after i traded in The Darkness!

This game is awesome!

Never played ninja gaiden on the xbox so this is perfect!

Getting stuck in!

I was going to get it on xbox but i was a skint teenager in secondary school with no job so couldnt afford it.

Your gonna love it on the PS3 McD!

Its a shame that I dont think there going to E3 would have liked a few announcements from Team Ninja about new games :(
 
Just did the airship boss and that was awesome!

Once i got how to get him without getting hit at all i found it still hard but did it!

I'm finding it quite easy now i've got the hang of it, i'm on chapter 7 now, chapter 2 was deffinately the hardest for me so far.

What weapons should i be using?, I swap between the Dragon Sword and the two swords (Tiger claw and dragon fang or something)
 
I upgraded the staff (or whatever it's called?) and use that :)

I also found Rachel good fun to play with, shame she doesn't have more
chapters :(
 
Dragon Sword is the best all rounder in terms of power, speed and techniques
Lunar has a long reach, is pretty powerful and your able to rack up decent sized combo's with it (my own weapon of choice :))
Dabilahro is probably the most powerful (when fully upgraded) and you can pull off some devastating combo's with it, only down side is its slow
Cant comment on the Dual swords since I dont own a PS3 :(

Those are what I use in Ninja Gaiden Black on my 360. Best thing to do is find what your comfortable with using and mix and match your weapons depending on the situation.

Im on chapter 7 now just got to the Indiana Jones bit! Im using the tiger claw dragon fang combo at the moment its at level 3 and it rocks lol. Not finding to hard ok im on ninja dog mode, but if I die its because im doing something silly ie not blocking wrong attacks etc, its hard but fair IMO.

Did you do the 60 man storage room for the scarab and plenty of orbs first though? i am not going to the boss till i get the 60 of them lol

Had a day off gaming yesterday :(
 
Orb harvesting! My favourite pastime ;)

Anyhows, got the Uk version of my game offloaded so I'm looking forward to lopping off some heads as I get started on this awesome game again.
