I have been playing 2 recently and quite like the visuals and how smooth it stays, I was just looking at the Xbox version of the first.

Is it just me or has it aged extremely well?

A combination of the first aging well and the second not looking great I think.

I think the second looks pretty nice, can't spot jagged edges from where I sit (roughly 5 feet back) and I'm very surprised it runs in 585P, it doesn't look blurry like GTA/CoD4 at all!

I like how it has a very clean look too, rather than having too much going on and looking jaggy.

Hi - I think the screenshots you posted are of Ninja Gaiden Sigma not Ninja Gaiden 1. I've got Ninja Gaiden 1 and it doesn't look anywhere near as pretty as those shots.

Sigma was a PS3 re-make of Ninja Gaiden 1.

Nope they are definitely the Xbox version, in the 2004 page of Ninja Gaiden on Gamespot, Sigma also looks considerably better than the pics I posted. :)

I remember it looking very pretty in places, though I think they are running it in a higher resolution. (I think a small number of Xbox games actually had higher than SD resolutions?!)

It's been a long time since I played Black on the Xbox. Finished playing Sigma a few months back and I thought it looked so much better the the original, but looking at those shots there wasn't actually that much difference :o
