as per the title, ive damaged my wii sports CS (its got 1 small deep scratch and the game doesnt load, when once it did), and im having troubles getting it replaced
i though that maybe i could buy a 2nd hand copy on ebay or whatever, but turns it its distribution is prohibited so the usual highstreet retailers wont let you trade it in, and ebay remove all auctions for it
spoke to somebody at the PC Game retailer, and he said to give nintendo customer services a ring
i eventually got through, and he explained they could exchange the disk providing that i sent the old one back. He expalined (Reasonably) that they cant send out a new one unless they got the old one back. But the charge for doing this was £28 !!!
thats the cost of the new game ffs. If im sending the old one back, its a media exchange, so you charge an administrative charge to cover costs. Ive done this with EA games and its been £6.
If im paying £28 its the same as purchasing another piece of software, so they're just screwing you over the fact you cant purchase it separately
please tell me theres a way to avoid having to pay £28 just to get my wii sports disc working ?
