Nintendo DS + Interweb

you need the browser software to surf the web and a compatible wireless access point
or just a wireless access point and a online game (and friend codes if required) to play online

its a peice of software you buy, called DS browser. its made by opera. find using google or at local shops

Don't bother with the DS browser. It's slow and a bit of a pain to use, unless you really like tapping away at a pretend keyboard. You've got a PC for a reason.

The wireless stuff is pretty easy to set up. I assume you've got some wi-fi compatible games you want to play online? Tetris? Mario Kart?

Well.. tbh no :(

Only game I got atm is some crappy GBA game, Pirates of the Caribbean.

I'm planning on buying Zelda and FF 3 soon. Are either online?

not enough to make it hugely worth bothering imo. theres some job or something you can get by send/recieving messages in ff3, but meh...

not sure about zelda, though my housemate didnt bug the hell outta me to set her DS up on the wireless network, so im guessing there's nothing game breaking thats online.

Be sure to note, when you're buying the DS Browser software that there are two different versions. One for the original DS and one for the DS Lite. :)

There is a bit of Wi-Fi stuff in Zelda, but it's by no means mission critical. You can send items to other players. Not terribly exciting.
