Nintendo DS Lite: Import query

I am looking to import a Nintendo DS Lite when the become available in Japan. The website I want to order off has them listed for pre-order but it is a 110V version. Is this just a 110V adapter or is the console itself 110V? If it is the console, what do I need to charge up one of these in the UK?

Very likely all you will need is a UK standard DS adapter.
That's all the original DS needed. If I'm not talking out of my bum, all of the stepping down or whatever is done with the charger cable, the DS will take the same voltage in the end.

or just get a £2 USB charger. DS UK chargers can be had for £4
