I'm thinking about getting a Gameboy Micro, just to mess around with when I'm bored, get some of the cool classic games "Mario Kart" "Sonic Advance" "Zelda" to name a few.

I got a couple of pics off the net -

As you can see, they are very compact :)

I have read a few reviews and it sounds good.

Have a look -

IGN - http://gameboy.ign.com/articles/645/645774p1.html
InfoSync - http://www.infosyncworld.com/reviews/n/6363.html

Has anyone else got one or planning to get one?

Cheers, Eddy.

Yeah, thats right, and loads of great games! (Over 700 games in total) :D

bought one off egay for £35, it was practically brand new and i love it to bits

bought it for mario bro's 3, mario world and mario kart pretty much :)

used to have an advance but these things are so much cooler. fit in your pocket perfectly, have a sleep mode so you dont loose your game, normal stereo jack and i think ive only charged mine up 4 times since i bought it back in april time (just used it for quick blasts on the bus to uni etc or on my break at work)

buy one! :)

I think I am going too :D

good man :D

you'll be amazed at how small it is when you get it. pictures just dont really show it. I'm still shocked at how tiny it is, its literally the same size as my phone (w810i, so same as k750i etc etc)

changable fascia's add a twist too :)

According to game.co.uk, these are only £39.99 new? Most other places are selling them for at least £60, seems like a bargain to me but only the pink one is in stock right now

Wouldnt you not be better picking up a Gameboy advance SP?

its play's all the Gameboy and Gameboy colour games to, im playing through Zelda DX on mine right now :D

They look class! i think thats my next payday buy! ;)
Im buying too many games at the moment though and theres not enough time ;)

Im just thinking though for the size of the thing will you not get cramp playing them?

I think its more to do with its sheer portability, the fact that it fits very comfortably in your pocket. From the sounds of it, people in this thread want it for a quick bash on the bus or train then to just be able to slip in ya pocket or bag, and go

im not sayin the sp isnt portable cos it is, but the micro's so much smaller :)

theres also the "cool" factor about it

also, dont you have to use a usb converter thingy on the sp to use a 3.5mm stereo jack for ear phones??

They are very cute and tiny. I've only played one for a few minutes, but I really liked it.
I think I've seen them for £45, but my local Virgin store tends to have random really good deals that no other store has.
