Nintendo points > Wii

I recently bought a Wii (not looking for commiserations!) and registered the console and Sports for the points on Club Nintendo giving me 1200 star points.
I've converted these to 300 nintendo points and have linked the Wii shop account to my club nintendo account.
The problem is, none of these points are showing as available on my Wii shop account, and it's been 3 days since I registered the first points.

Anyone have an idea why these wouldn't show up?

I bought 1000 points via credit card, and these show up fine, but not the points I registered on club nintendo.

When you got the Wii points through club nintendo it should have given you a redeem code, which you have to enter on the wii.

Log on to the Wii Points shop and click on 'your wii points codes' in the info bar on the side.
