I had to pay for a wii once before hopefully this time round I won't have to go to france for it, unfortunately I suspect this wii will cost more than a couple of francs.

Nintendo's track recorded in releasing things around the world is not the greatest. It took them 6 month to get the DS to the EU

lets hope they do a lot better with the this console

Didn't Nintendo already confirm months ago that it would be released in time for Thanksgiven in the USA?

October seems about right, however games are usually available a week or so before the actual console
