Just noticed the 3DS thread. Are the friend codes specific to Nintendo accounts and not consoles? If they are then this thread can be deleted.

I think they may go for a more "modern" way of doing it when the online service is in full swing but hey ho...
 
OP updated :)

I want to try and arrange a 4v4 Splatoon 2 evening/session if people are up for it. Can try out the Switch Online app for chat as well (I am more curious than anything)

Mine is Jake but then I am not sure if it will use the account name or profile name? My account name is JakeAna (with the original thought of being both for me and my wife) but profile name is Jake. However I assumed most knew this as I sign most of my posts off with my name :p

Which name do you change? the profile you use when on the switch or the account name?
