If anyone is interested in some great old school arcade games and has a Nintendo Switch there are a few Sega Arcade games available for cheap on the E-Store.

Space Harrier
Outrun
Wonderboy in Monsterland
G-Loc Air Battle
Fantasy Zone
Thunderforce AC
Fantasy Star
Thunderforce IV
Alex Kidd in Miracle World

All £1.49 each. Nice front end and some extra game modes.

Its just a REAL pity that Golden Axe isnt available. :(
 
It's a shame that Sega didn't continue this range as the QoL improvements M2 made to some of the games are fantastic!
I'm yet to experience it but Virtua Racing even has a 8 player split screen option!
 
I always hoped that Golden Axe - Revenge of Death Adder would make an appearance considering it never received a home port of any kind.

The port of Gain Ground is nice too, i'd never played the arcade version until it appeared on the Ages line, never realised it was a 3 player game + it has TATE mode! :)

I remember being in an indoor climbing competition (just one where you scored yourself, nothing pro at all)
There was a problem that was quite difficult and I had failed multiple times. On the lower holds there was a big push and jump (dynamic move) to the next holds, I said in my head "Power up" thinking of Altered beast when you collect the blue spinning ball things that makes him gradually get bigger turning into a beast... Then shot up and completed problem! After that I used the power up phrase quite a bit, along with "Rise from your grave" when I was tired or hungover :D
 
i saw this a couple of days ago. They have the Data East games on offer but they dont have a complete one. So if you want Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja and Sly Spy you have to buy both the packs and some are doubled..

Oh and no Robocop! :(
